Hi I’m Julia!  

I’m a 21-year-old from Pittsburgh, born and raised! As of now, I’m thriving in the Southside and you can usually find me behind the bar at Starbucks or diving into some noodles from Thai Me Up. 

I’m currently in my last semester at Duquesne University studying Integrated Marketing Communications with a minor in Business Management. I love my major because it’s multi-faceted; I’m constantly being exposed to different areas of the industry. This allowed me to find where my true passion lies, in creative branding and visual content. 

In my free time I love to create content for my own personal social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok. Editing photos is one of my favorite things to do, my secret weapon is the Tezza app! A little bit more about me—my favorite color is pink, I’m a Libra, cheetah print is a neutral in my closet, and finally, I can never pass up an opportunity to make a charcuterie board. 

I was initially drawn to Waterloo Street because of the amazing aesthetic. When I learned that they are a female-owned business that collaborates with other women, I knew I needed to apply. Hannah and Rachel build intentional relationships with their clients, an aspect of this industry that I think is crucial. They genuinely love what they do, which is a feeling I truly desire. I’m so excited for the opportunity to learn from them and I can’t wait for what’s to come!
