Hannah is obsessed with all things copy - proofreading, editing, writing - you name it. Don't get her started on the Oxford comma.
With absurd attention to detail and organizational skills that will knock your socks off, Hannah nurtures relationships by getting to the heart of her clients' goals and letting that set the stage.
When she's not working on content, you can find her whipping up a delicious meal, snuggling with her kitten, or jamming out at an indie concert. You'll rarely catch her without a cup of coffee in hand and she thinks that kindness is badass.
Oh, and Go Hokies!
It all began in room 302 at Fauquier High School in Warrenton, Virginia.
As a junior, Rachel joined the yearbook staff and loved seeing all of the different parts of the publication come together - the writing, photography, and even the ads. As the Ads Editor, she fell in love with putting together content and design to see someone's vision come to life. After graduating from Bethany College in 2013, Rachel got her first job working at an agency in Warrenton. She was fascinated by the knowledge of her peers and the B2B interactions, but wanted to create a more authentic experience. She wanted to shake up the marketing world and bring something new to the table.
Following in Rachel’s footsteps, Hannah joined the yearbook staff as a freshman. She worked her way up the totem pole from Staff Writer, to Ads Editor, to eventually landing the Editor-In-Chief position her senior year. She loved overseeing the process from start to finish, but still made time to do what she loved the most- write! After graduating from Virginia Tech in 2016, Hannah moved to NYC to work in Marketing and Recruiting, but when Rachel came up with the crazy idea to start their own agency, she didn't hesitate to say "let's do it."
Together, the two formed what is now known as Waterloo Street (formerly Samlall Creative). The name Waterloo Street is a nod to the location of their high school that's located off of Waterloo.
We want to help you take control of your marketing. We don’t hide our process from you. We educate you and provide you with the tools you need to succeed in marketing!
We pride ourselves on being transparent with our clients and we expect the same from them. We will always be honest when it comes to ideas, direction, and expectations.
Everything we do is rooted in strategy. We want to work with companies that understand their own business strategy and direction, and are able to articulate that to us to then direct the marketing.
